Den Anfang setzte Mitte der 1980er der Produzent David Bronner (u.a. “Rise like a Phoenix” ), der das RPM Sound Studio unter dem ursprünglichen Namen Olympia Studios gründete. Bronner ist unter anderem tätig als Komponist & Texter, Kabarettist und Theaterdirektor. Bekannt geworden ist er in den Formationen The Form, der ersten österreichischen Band mit internationaler MTV Präsenz, und als Produzent der Ersten Allgemeinen Verunsicherung. Das im Olympia Studios produzierte Album “Nie wieder Kunst” schaffte es in Österreich zu Doppelplatin. Auch arbeitete er unter anderem mit Größen wie Guy Pratt von Pink Floyd, Hubert van Goisern und Christina Stürmer zusammen. Er produzierte Christina Stürmers ersten zwei sehr erfolgreichen Alben “Freier Fall” und “Soll das wirklich alles sein” und war weiters Produzent für Sony Music. 

Er ergatterte Auszeichnungen wie den Amadeus Award “Single des Jahres” für Valerie’s “Mädchen”. 

Gemeinsam mit Florian Glaszer etablierte Bronner das Studio. Diese Partnerschaft ging 1991 zu Ende.

Anfang 1998 übernahmen Ferdinand Musil und Walter Mayer das Olympia Studio, welches nach einer zweijährigen Umbauphase im Jahr 2000 unter dem Namen "Empire Studio" eröffnete. Seit dieser Zeit arbeitete der Produzent Alexander Kahr oft im Studio, da er gemeinsam mit Ferdinand Musil und Walter Mayer die Band "TWO IN ONE" produzierte, welche mit 7 Titeln in den Austrian Top 40 vertreten war.

Viele weitere berühmte Künstler, wie Plus/Minus feat. Zera, Fantasy Project, Beverly Knight (deren Gesangsaufnahmen “Gold” Titel erwarben ) oder Just4You, gastierten in unserem Studio.

Über die Jahre hat sich das Studio erneuert und neue professionelle Mitglieder sind dazugestoßen, die das Studio heute leiten und für einen neuen und erfolgreichen Abschnitt der Studiogeschichte sorgen. 2015 übernimmt die redpmusic GmbH das Studio und nennt das Empire Studio in RPM Studio um. Das Studio wurde modernisiert und die frische Brise hat kurz darauf schon Blackstreet aus NY und Conchita Wurst eingefangen.

Bronner has worked among others as a composer and lyricist, comedian and theater director. Together with Florian Glaszer Bronner established the studio. This partnership ended in 1991.

In early 1998 Ferdinand Musil and Walter Mayer took over the Olmypia Studio, which opened after a two-year conversion phase in 2000 under the name “Empire Studio”.  Since then the producer Alexander Kahr has often worked in the studio and produced, in collaboration with Ferdinand Musil and Walter Mayer, the band “TWO IN ONE”, which has achieved 7 titles in the Austrian Top 40 single charts.

Over the years, many other famous artists such as Plus / Minus feat. Zera, Fantasy Project, Beverly Knight (whose vocal recordings acquired "Gold" ) or Just4you made a guest appearance in our studio.

The studio has renewed itself over time and new professional members were added, who run the studio today and provide a new and successful part of the studio's history. 2015 redpmusic GmbH takes over and renames the Empire Studio in RPM Sound Studio. The studio has been modernized and the fresh breeze has shortly afterwards captured already Blackstreet from NY and Conchita Wurst.
